Drawing Now Paris, the trade fair for contemporary drawing
Founded in 2007 by Christine PhalDrawing Now Paris is Europe's first contemporary art fair devoted exclusively to drawing. Since its creation, it has accompanied the evolution of the medium and revealed its vitality through a demanding curatorial approach.
For its 19th edition, Drawing Now Paris will bring together 71 international galleries from 13 countries, presenting artists with a wide range of practices, from the rediscovery of historic figures to the most contemporary experiments.
Through its program of talks, performances, professional meetings and exhibition, Drawing Now Paris highlights the richness and diversity of contemporary drawing. The show affirms drawing as a space that unfolds and reinvents itself, shaped by the aesthetic, technical and societal issues of our time. It thus confirms its role as a reference platform for contemporary creation.
